A Powerful Partnership
St1 Biokraft is a joint venture between St1 and HitecVision, combining expertise and resources to drive innovation in the biomethane sector. Our goal is to become the leading integrated biomethane provider in the Nordics, playing a vital role in the energy transition. We cover the entire value chain – from feedstock sourcing to distribution and end-user sales – with a strong emphasis on heavy transport, maritime, and industrial sectors.
To support this ambitious growth, we are investing over EUR 1 billion in biomethane production and distribution infrastructure across the Nordics, with several large-scale projects already in progress.
Transport Coordinator, St1 Biokraft, Malmö or Stockholm
Our amazing Transport Coordinator will be on parental leave, and we need a temporary replacement. As we expand, this position will most likely become permanent, and if you are the right person and enjoy the temporary position, you have a very good chance of being converted into a permanent position. We would like you to start in May or June and cover the role until January/February 2027.
As our Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in daily operations by planning and coordinating the transport of liquefied and compressed biogas (LBG and CBG) from our production sites to customers. This is a highly operational, fast-paced, hands-on position where planning aligns with execution. You will join our on-call logistics team, responsible for real-time coordination and maintaining a continuous flow across the supply chain. Due to the nature of these operations, the role requires working during irregular hours. The position could be based at our office in Malmö or Stockholm, and you will report to the Head of Value Chain Operations.
You will be part of a close-knit logistics team, working daily with carriers, contractors, production sites, sales, and portfolio teams. You’ll manage transport routes, monitor delivery statuses, follow up on settlements, support technical inquiries, and help develop business cases and capacity planning. Your ability to act quickly, think strategically, and work cross-functionally will be essential to ensuring reliable, efficient deliveries, always prioritising safety and sustainability.
Initially, this role will primarily focus on LBG transport planning, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities thereafter.
A typical day includes activities like this:
Monitor and analyse production output to understand the supply for the coming days
Monitor and analyse tank station storage levels and demand
Have meetings with production sites to discuss the potential disruptions and volume forecast for the coming days, but also for the coming month
Plan the gas transportation accordingly, and align with the customer about delivery details
Follow up on selected KPI’s
If you are placed in Stockholm, note that you are expected to travel to Malmö frequently at the beginning of the training period, at least for the first four weeks.
Who You Are
You either hold a post-secondary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or engineering combined with relevant work experience, or you have gained solid, practical expertise through several years in transport operations, logistics coordination, or related fields.
You understand the dynamics of daily planning and possess a natural drive to improve, optimise, and take ownership of operational flows.
You are structured, analytical, service-oriented, and composed under pressure.
You have a curiosity about technical and biological processes and seek to understand the wider energy value chain.
Experience with ADR regulations, high-pressure gas systems, or biogas logistics is highly advantageous.
You are confident in using tools like Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (Business Central is a plus). Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Swedish is strongly preferred.
Why St1 Biokraft?
We’re not just producing biogas – we’re redefining how renewable energy is sourced, delivered, and experienced.
