St1 Biokraft is a joint venture between St1, HitecVision, and Aneo, combining expertise and resources to drive innovation in the biogas industry. The aim is to become a leading integrated biogas player in the Nordics, contributing significantly to the energy transition. The company covers the entire biogas value chain, from feedstock sourcing to distribution and end-user sales, with a goal to achieve 3 TWh biomethane production and 6 TWh biomethane sales by 2030, focusing on heavy transport, maritime, and industrial applications.

To support this expansion, over 1 billion EUR will be invested in biogas production and distribution networks across the Nordics, with several major projects already underway, aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and scaling up operations to meet ambitious targets.

Senior Purchaser - shaping the future procurement function

We are committed to developing the biogas sector in the Nordics by managing the entire value chain—from raw material sourcing to sales and distribution—with the goal of producing 3 TWh of biomethane and distributing 6 TWh by 2030.

To achieve these ambitious targets, we are now looking for a Senior Purchaser who will play a key role in shaping the future procurement function. In this position, you will be responsible for building a modern procurement structure, ensuring a stable and long-term supplier network, and identifying synergies across our existing and future facilities.

As Senior Purchaser, you will report to the Head of Procurement and be responsible for all critical procurement related to Production & Assets. You will work both strategically and operationally, focusing on negotiating the best commercial terms, evaluating and sourcing new suppliers, and ensuring quality and delivery reliability for materials and services. The role includes travel, primarily within Scandinavia and Europe, to strengthen supplier collaborations and lead audits.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build and develop a modern procurement function.

• Ensure a stable and successful supplier network.

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.

• Identify, evaluate, and procure new suppliers to meet future needs.

• Take commercial responsibility for a defined group of suppliers.

• Ensure quality and delivery reliability for materials and services.

• Manage the procurement module in our ERP system and develop processes for future procurement needs.

• Stay updated on market trends, supplier landscapes, and innovative solutions.
