Training Portfolio Manager - Sales and Marketing Performance, Getinge Infection Control AB
Getinge Academy is the central, coordinating body that ensures that all parts of Getinge have the skills, knowledge and ability to guarantee regulatory compliance and the execution of strategic goals effectively. This is done through close alignment with the business leadership and the company strategy. There are three types of functions in Getinge Academy and this role will be part of one of the Academy Centers of Excellence, developing and managing global training content. As our Training Portfolio Manager - Sales and Marketing Performance (SMP) you will be one of the core members of the CoE Leadership and People Performance team.
The role, Training Portfolio Manager of SMP, is central to the successful execution of Getinge's commercial strategy. The primary purpose is to ensure that the Marketing and Selling functions have the capabilities needed to communicate and develop the Getinge brand and grow the market share.
The role mainly evolves around developing commercial skills and capabilities, rather than technical and clinical aspects. However, the Training Portfolio Manager of SMP will liaise with colleagues working with product related training development to ensure consistency of standards and messaging. The successful candidate will be a key business partner to both Getinge's business areas and the Global Sales organization. International travel is required (approx. 25% of the time). You can be located in our office in Malmoe, Solna, Växjö, Gothenburg or Copenhagen.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Training Portfolio Manager, you will have a strategic perspective, as well as tactical and operational. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
o Lead and co-ordinate the capability development of Customer facing functions & Marketing.
o Develop and maintain the SMP training portfolio including classroom, on-line, in field and "Train the Trainer"
o Ensure that training is in place for both on-boarding new people and on-going development of existing staff.
o Set standards of excellence for the function and ensure that they are met.
o Co-ordinate and prioritise design and delivery of training programs in close collaboration with business leaders to ensure alignment with Getinge strategic priorities.
o Partner with product owners and provide support for new product or service launch initiatives.
o Develop, negotiate and manage budgets for training investments.
o Develop key performance indicators related to the on-going development of capabilities including reporting on cost effectiveness.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We would love to talk with you who have the following experience:
o A passion for, and understanding of, how learning transfer drives improved business performance.
o Previous experience in developing and delivering effective training strategies.
o Training needs analysis
o Defining critical behaviors and learning objectives
o Use of L&D tools and processes including Adult Learning principles
o Measurement of outcomes
o Proven International track record from both a business and cultural perspective. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to work across cultures and is familiar with how business is conducted in different parts of the world.
o Excellent project management skills. Proven track record of leading by empowering others and working with cross-functional teams.
o Proven communication skills. Ability to engage across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
o In addition to fluency in English, fluency in multiple other languages is an advantage
o University level education
